Our History

Mike Mako got his start in music in the jungle cafes of South East Asia, where clove cigarette smoke keeps the malaria mosquitoes away.  He has played much internationally with other musicians until making a home in New York City.  His first CD, self-entitled "Mike Mako" was first released in 2006, but has been receiving more attention in recent times.  His next CD is due out soon.  Check home page for current show dates.

Who We Are

Mike Mako - An artist of sorts lost in the urban jungle of NYC.  Mike plays guitar, bass, harmonica and keyboards on most band recordings.  He also writes all songs and provides vocals on all tracks.

Ron Thaler - Drummer extraordinaire Ron Thaler keeps the beat and then some.  World famous for drums and music production, Ron Thaler simply is modern music.

McKool J Masterflesh - An elusive character in the music world, McKool J plays bass on Mike Mako tracks and provides a unique presence in live performances.
